It is drawn tattoo-first rather than illustration-first: shapes are kept honest at real tattoo sizes, and the linework is planned as a stencil, not just a picture. Placement is a conversation worth having at the shop: the composition is drawn to read upright and clear, and an artist will show you two or three spots where it sits better than the one you first pictured.

Some designs are decoration. "phase2 batch218 graffiti7 windmill" is a composition, drawn in other — subject first, structure underneath, detail where it pays. It was drawn by Site Administrator, one of the independent artists selling original work through Tattoo Art Customs.

What you are buying is the working pair: full-color finished art plus the clean linework stencil your artist will transfer to skin. The preview here is linework only by design — the color version is delivered privately after purchase. And if it is almost right — a name worked in, different flowers, the composition flipped to fit the other arm — order it as a custom variation and an artist will redraw it to your notes.
