Dice ♥ 0

ascii artrestored

The image is typeset, literally: built from characters and type marks arranged until a picture resolves out of the text. Sizing matters more than usual here: the placement has to be big enough that the pattern's rhythm stays legible, and centered placements show the construction off best.

"Dice" is an original design drawn in a ASCII art hand, and it knows exactly what it is about.

This piece is delivered as clean linework — a ready-to-transfer stencil your artist can ink in straight black, build up in black and grey, or color in a palette of your choosing at the chair. Linework-only pieces are the most flexible thing in the gallery: the drawing is finished, the finish is up to you. Like it but need it changed — colors swapped, an element added, sized for a specific spot? That is what the custom-variation order is for: the same drawing, reworked by an artist around your notes.
