Who we are

The short version

Chorvix has no accounts, no server of ours, no ads, and no analytics. We never receive your voice, your prompts, or the AI's answers — the app is a bridge between you and the AI assistant you choose, and nothing passes through us.

How the voice loop works, and where your words go

• When you tap the floating bubble or the widget and speak, your speech is converted to text by Android's speech-recognition service on your device (provided by your device maker / Google). We do not record, store, or transmit your audio.
• The resulting text goes where you send it: to the AI assistant you picked. In the voice panel, that conversation happens in a built-in web view directly between you and that AI provider's own website, under your own account with them and their privacy policy. If you choose "Open in app," the prompt is handed to that provider's app instead. If an app can't accept the text, it is copied to your clipboard so nothing is lost.
• Answers shown and read aloud in the panel come straight from the AI provider. The spoken readout is generated on your device.

What the app stores

Only your preferences, in the app's private on-device storage: your default AI, whether the floating bubble is enabled, and whether voice announcements are on. No conversation history is kept by the app. Uninstalling the app erases everything it stored.

Permissions, and why

• Microphone (record audio): so the voice panel can hear your prompt when you tap Talk. Requested only when you enable the floating mic, and used only while you are actively speaking a prompt.
• Display over other apps: the floating bubble.
• Foreground service (special use): keeps the floating bubble available on top of other apps, with its status notification.
• Notifications: the floating-mic status notice (Android 13+).
• Internet (used by the built-in web view): the voice panel loads the AI provider's own chat website so you can talk to it and hear the answer. That traffic goes directly between your device and the provider — never through us.

Third parties

The AI assistants (Muse, ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Copilot, Perplexity, Grok, DeepSeek) are third-party services with their own privacy policies. What you send them is governed by their policies, not this one.

Purchases

If you buy the app, Google Play processes the payment. We never see or store your card details.

Children

Chorvix is a productivity tool for adults. It is not directed at children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at this URL with a new "last updated" date.
