HerbHaul Driver — Privacy Policy

Who we are
HerbHaul Driver (Android app com.usefulappz.cannadashdriver) is the driver-side companion to HerbHaul, published by Usefulappz™ (Mike Kelley), Abbeville, Louisiana. Contact: mikekelleyii.mk2@gmail.com
The short version
HerbHaul Driver collects no data. This build is a labeled demo: it requests no permissions at all — not even internet access — and everything it shows is bundled inside the app. No accounts that send anything anywhere, no analytics, no advertising SDK, no tracking. The app loads no network content; the only things that ever leave the app are the two deliberate handoffs described below, both started by your own tap.
What this build is
This is a demonstration build of the HerbHaul driver face. The order offers, addresses, and earnings figures are demo data printed on the face as demo. There is no real delivery work, no real order, and no payment in this build. The sign-in screen is a labeled stub: it checks nothing and sends nothing.
How the app works
- Everything is bundled. The demo offers, the pickup and door-step flow, and the earnings arithmetic all live inside the app and are calculated on your device. The app never knows where you are: it has no location permission and makes no location request.
- The Directions handoff is yours. HerbHaul builds no navigation. When you tap a Directions button, the app hands the delivery address shown on that demo offer to the navigation app you choose (through the standard Android chooser — Waze, Google Maps, or your own). That address is demo data in this build, and the handoff happens only on your tap; what your navigation app does with it is under that app's own privacy policy. Nothing about the handoff is reported back to us — it cannot be; the app has no network connection.
- The customer-app cross-link. A button on the face opens the HerbHaul customer app if it is installed on the same phone, and otherwise opens the HerbHaul page in your browser. To do that, the app asks Android whether the customer app's package is present — a yes/no check that happens on the device and is never transmitted anywhere.
- Doors out open in your browser. The app carries links to our own website's HerbHaul page and a PayPal tip jar. Those open in your system browser, outside the app. If you follow one, whatever you do on that site is under that site's own privacy policy; the app itself sends nothing anywhere.
- The Root Checker line. Like every app in our house, HerbHaul Driver carries a built-in Root Checker. It looks at your device, on your device, and prints what it finds on the app's face for you to see — for example whether root was detected and how many game controllers are connected. That report is shown to you and never sent anywhere; the checker has no network path. Root and controllers are welcome in our house; the checker watches, it never blocks.
- The door-step attestation. The demo delivery flow asks you to check a box attesting that ID was checked at the door. In this build that checkbox is part of the demonstration: it records nothing, stores no photo, and sends nothing.
What the app stores
Nothing is stored off your device, and we receive nothing. Demo session totals exist only while you are using the app. Uninstalling the app erases anything the app kept on the device.
Permissions, and why
- None. This build requests no Android permissions — no internet, no location, no camera, no contacts, no storage. (The customer-app check described above uses Android's package-visibility declaration, which is not a permission and collects nothing.) If a future build ever needs a permission, it will be requested only for the feature that uses it and this policy will be updated before that build ships.
Ads
This app contains no advertising SDK, no ad network, and no advertising ID, and collects nothing for advertising. A house card about our own other products is printed as part of the bundled page itself; it loads nothing from any network and tracks nothing. If a real third-party ad build ever ships, this policy and the app's Google Play declarations will be updated first.
Payments
The app sells nothing, pays nothing, and takes no payment information. The earnings screen is an arithmetic demonstration of the published driver fee math using demo figures only.
Adults only
HerbHaul Driver is a work tool for adults of legal age — the platform it demonstrates is 21+ — and it is not directed at children. It collects no data from anyone, of any age.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at this URL with a new "last updated" date.
