Tribal
Tribal tattooing is pure black form: tapered blades, spirals, waves and woven bands flowing with the body's musculature, descended from the indigenous traditions of Polynesia, Samoa, Borneo and the Māori. Every design in this gallery is original artwork created by an independent tattoo artist or design artist and offered here for sale. The gallery shows a clean linework preview of each piece — that keeps the finished art from being copied before it is bought. When you buy a design, you receive the full-color finished artwork and the linework stencil file, ready to take to your tattoo artist.
Can't find the exact piece you pictured? Commission it instead. Custom designs are drawn to order: describe your idea, approve the direction, and the finished design is delivered within 48 hours. You can also turn a photo or a rough doodle into a finished tattoo design, or ask for changes to any gallery design — different flowers, a name added, colors swapped — when you order it as a custom variation.
